i think these are painted turtles, tho, not snappers...i swirved to miss 2 one time on the highway and instead, i got them both! gunk...gunk...i felt really bad! that's just the beginning of that trip!

me too! I remember Jack and I werre at the fishing lake in gillette trying to catch one and he cut his foot really bad.
I do! snapping turtles were a common thing at our house! kind of miss them...and don't forget all the horny toads!
In Texas. We kept them in a bucket in the living room and it stunk up our house!
